DMV Psychiatric Wellness is currently accepting resumes for Certified Physician Assistant positions in our outpatient office located in between Baltimore and DC.

DMV Psychiatric Wellness providers provide in-depth psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and continuation of services to the patients/clients.
This position requires self-motivated, ambitious Providers who are seeking the flexibility and autonomy of private practice and can work in an active environment. Providers must have the ability to collaborate on a motivated team, high stands of excellent work ethic, and strong clinical skills. Providers focus on medication management, healthy recovery initiatives, and sustaining positive mental health.
Responsibilities

Provide initial and ongoing psychiatric evaluation to patients 12 years of age through the lifespan
-
Subscribe to a treatment construct that include the use of controlled substances

Demonstrates a patient-first mentality
-
Seeing 15-20 patients daily performing psychiatric evaluations and medication management
-
1 hour given for psychiatric evaluation
-
20-30 minutes for follow-ups
-
Working closely with consulting head NP and administration
-
Designing treatment plan for patients suffering from various mental health disorders

Documenting notes in Kareo system
This position would require a Psychiatry CAQ Certification.
The ideal candidate will have:

a master's degree in Medical Science (PA) (PA-C) with a CAQ in Psychiatry;

a current PA license in MD;

a strong understanding behavioral and mood disorders;

a strong understanding of child development and the use of technology;

excellent verbal and written communication skills;

excellent interpersonal skills;

the ability to work independently and as part of a team;;

a commitment to professional development and ongoing education;

an interest in developing and implementing community-based programs that promote healthy behaviors;

a commitment to providing high quality services using evidence-based practices.
License/Certification:
